Miami, FL – The Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County joins community partners and advocates in recognizing National HIV Testing Day on June 27, 2017.  In commemoration of National HIV Testing Day, the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County will host 3 free community events in collaboration with Community Partners.
 
Event: Testing at New Horizons - Free HIV Testing
Date:  Tuesday, June 27, 2017
Time:  9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Event: Take the Train? -Take the Test at Government Center Metrorail Station -Free HIV and STD Testing
Date:  Tuesday, June 27, 2017
Time:  1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Location: Government Center Metrorail Station:101 NW First Street, Miami, FL 33128   
 
Event:  Testing at Walgreens - Free HIV and STD Testing
Date:  Wednesday, June 28, 2017
Time:  3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Location:  Walgreens:  567 NE 125th Street, North Miami, FL 33161
 
National HIV Testing Day, held annually on June 27, began in 1995 to promote HIV testing and early diagnosis. The 2017 federal theme is “Test Your Way.  Do It Today”.
