No child should get stuck at home with electronics or munching on junk food during their winter school break.  The Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department has them covered with the ultimate winter break camp experience – “We’ve Got a Camp for That!”  Kids get to choose from unique and exciting adventure-filled camp options, so they stay active and thrilled throughout the school recess with the activities they most enjoy!

General camp programs for 6 to 14-year-olds offer fitness, sports, arts & crafts, games and memorable field trips! Camps will be held December 26-28, 2018-January 2-4, 2019, Wednesday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., with early drop-off available at 7:30 a.m. and late pick-up until 6 p.m. The cost for these camps is $40-$90/week, depending on the program.

There are also specialized camps, which focus on a specific interests, offered at Zoo Miami, the Deering Estate, Miami Eco Adventures, Raices Hispanic Arts and Culture Center and Miami-Dade Parks golf courses.
