MIAMI (November, 2016) –  On Saturday, Nov. 19, the President's Cabinet of Miami Children's Health Foundation teamed up with the Knots of Hope guild to host the third annual "Bake a Difference" event, where more than 200 participants set up 30 bake stands throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties with the purpose of raising funds and awareness for Miami Children’s Health Foundation. This year, the community bake sale raised more than $25,000. These funds will benefit the patients and families who depend on Nicklaus Children's Hospital and its Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. The “Bake a Difference” event strives to encourage children to get involved and make an impact in the lives of other children. This year, more than 30 individual bake stands were set up by participants who took part in the initiative.
