A crowd of all ages and nationalities attended the event FIESTA USA on Saturday September 15, 2018 in Losner Park. Organized by Homestead Main Street to coincide with Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 to Oct. 15), the free festival celebrated the diversity and different cultures in the community.  Losner park was decorated with flags from all South and Central American countries and Mexico, each paired with an American flag.  Opening the event was over 40 children dressed in costumes from their native countries parading around Losner Park.  Traditional American music was provided by the South Dade Music Project as well as additional music by DJ Mauricio Parra and performances by Ballet Folklorico of Miami and Fraternidad Bolivianos Unidos de Miami.  The highlight of the event was the magnificent Andalusian and Fresian horses from Club Hipico Mexico Americano who danced and performed to the delight of the over 800 people who came out to celebrate this exciting festival.
