Monarch All Health is a family-oriented health center based in Homestead, offering mental health and medical services to all ages, but with a focus on children 0-5 years old.
Dr. Rina Santiago-Guia, co-founder and clinical Director, makes sure patients feel at home when they visit Monarch All Health Center, “we strive every day for our patients to feel comfortable, like part of our family. We’re not a typical place where patients come in and the staff don’t even know your name. You are more than a number to us,” she told Go! Latinos Magazine while describing her business.
Precisely, their value proposition lies in offering their In-house services to a small community such as Homestead. “Our different professionals can see different family members in the same place at the same time, which saves a lot of time and energy for the family”, said Dr. Santiago-Guia. "The family environment, the way we treat our patients and the support we give to each other is what makes Monarch different from other health centers," said Lyllymar Colón-Rodríguez, a psychologist at Monarch All Health.
The idea of starting Monarch All Health occurred to Dr. Santiago when she worked with children as a clinical psychologist for more than 10 years. Nowadays, Monarch All Health is the first Homestead-based health center specializing in Mental Health and occupational therapy where children, families, and adults of all ages come together and are treated by a unified multidisciplinary team. In addition, its main focus is on children under 5, where different psychologists who specialize in all areas of mental health ensure that they have a simple and uncomplicated process.
Their team consists of 4 doctors of psychology, 1 mental health Counselor, and 1 Occupational Therapist; and the services they offer include IQ /Gifted Testing, Developmental Testing, Autism, ADHD, Psychological Evaluations, Psychotherapy, Occupational Therapy, ABA Therapy and Immigration Evaluation.
Monarch All Health service is making the difference in Homestead, not only for the unique and qualified service they offer but also for being family oriented. “We all really work together to provide the best professional service that we have to offer but also to make patients feel happy when they get here,” said Dr. Zambrana-Nieves, one of their psychologists. “When you call here to get an appointment you talk to the owner directly, at Monarch you get personalized assistance,” she added.
