Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 1:00PM, the City of Homestead, joined by Congressman Curbelo, will announce the final funding needed to begin a major project in Downtown Homestead, which is central to the City’s revitalization effort.
The project will include a Downtown Transit Center with a 1,000 space parking garage, a multi-screen movie theater, bowling alley, restaurant, and retail. In attendance will be officials from the City of Homestead and Congressman Curbelo.
The City is currently in the midst of an aggressive Downtown Revitalization effort. Recent projects include the newly constructed City Hall, recently restored historic Seminole Theatre, and the new Police Station expected to be completed by early 2017.
