City Announces Homestead’s New Normal Effective May 18th

Beginning Monday, May 18, 2020, certain businesses that were closed due to COVID-19 will be allowed to reopen with restrictions on capacity and requirements for social distancing and enhanced sanitation that will help to reduce the spread of COVID-19 while allowing Homestead’s economy to rebound.
In general, the following types of businesses will be allowed to reopen at 50% indoor capacity if face coverings are worn, six foot social distancing is enforced, and additional hygienic precautions are taken: restaurants, retail, nail and hair salons, barbershops, arts & cultural institutions, offices, warehouses, manufacturing, and trade & logistics. The following businesses will not be allowed to reopen at this time: gyms, theaters, bowling alleys, bars and nightclubs, and pools.
