Dezerland Park Adds more attractions on way to becoming Miami’s Largest Indoor Theme Park
Israeli-American real estate developer and car collector Michael Dezer is confident in his South Florida real estate prowess; but now he’s focused on becoming a leader in the family entertainment industry as well. First getting involved as a partner in Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale back in 2015, Dezer backed that up with the recent announcement he will be opening an Orlando entertainment venture (Artegon Marketplace Property). Dezer opened his own namesake location, Dezerland Park, at 14401 NE 19th Avenue in North Miami, Florida, this past summer.
Since then, he has added new and exciting attractions, including: Dezer Gymnastics Training Center (DGTC); Ninja Warrior Training Course; a 250-Game “Miami Arcade” featuring bowling; 13,000 square-foot Virtual Reality Park with 20 individual machines and more than 50 state-of-the-art 5D games and rides; and has started on Karting Miami. (Karting Miami which will be fully open in early 2019, features 50,000 square feet of track and space; three total tracks for adults and kids; electric powered by lithium ion batteries and open wheeled to reach 30-40 mph; LED flashing lights on track. Karts are being manufactured by BizKarts.com.)
Dezerland Park is still on track to be Miami’s largest indoor theme park, according to Dezer. Eventually occupying more than 250,000 square feet of space, Dezerland Park will open attraction by attraction until is complete in early 2019. Today, the Family Entertainment Center (FEC) features the following: 007 Bond Museum (the largest James Bond exhibit valued at over $50 million); Ropes Courses: Ninja Warrior Course; Arcade; Rock Climbing; Reball Paintless Paintball; Virtual Reality Park Mind Lab Center for kids; Trampoline Park; Dance & Karate Classes; Event Space; and more.
In addition to the entertainment component of Dezerland Park, the facility offers group events, team building, corporate gatherings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, summer and after-school camp, gymnastics, martial arts, aerial silks, dance and trampoline fitness, parkour, kids and adults classes, and more. Recently, artist Fat Joe performed for a private event and Lebron James hosted his kid’s birthday party at Dezerland Park.
