Brainchild of Real Estate Tycoon Michael Dezer, Family Entertainment Center Looks to Change Miami Landscape; Promises Over 250,000 Square Feet of Fun, Games, Events & Activities

Israeli-American real estate developer and car collector Michael Dezer is confident in his South Florida real estate prowess; but now he’s focused on becoming a leader in the family entertainment industry as well. First getting involved as a partner in Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale back in 2015, Dezer backed that up with the recent announcement he will be a partner in an Orlando entertainment venture (Artegon Marketplace Property) as well. Dezer is finally opening his own namesake location, Dezerland Park, at 14401 NE 19th Avenue in North Miami, Florida.

Dezerland Park will be Miami’s largest indoor theme park, according to Malka Livingston, the general manager of the entire park, who will be running it day to day. Eventually occupying more than 250,000 square feet of space, Dezerland Park will open attraction by attraction until is complete in early 2019. Today, the Family Entertainment Center (FEC) features the following: 007 Bond Museum (the largest James Bond exhibit valued at over $50 million); Ropes Courses: Ninja Warrior Course; Arcade; Rock Climbing; Reball Paintless Paintball; Virtual Reality Park with 40-plus visual attractions; Soft Play Discovery Center for Kids; Trampoline Park; Dance & Karate Classes; Event Space; and more. In the coming months, it will add electric go-karts, Olympic-level gymnastics training center, car simulators, zip line, bumper cars, bazooka ball, outdoor paint ball, Ninja Warrior training, and indoor sky diving.

“As a grandfather now, I have kids and grandkids who want to be entertained, and there is nothing like this in the market,” Dezer said. “It’s fulfilling and rewarding to bring value, fun and entertainment to this Miami community that I love so much. It’s definitely a hobby for me, but it’s one I enjoy!”

In addition to the entertainment component of Dezerland Park, the facility offers group events, team building, corporate gatherings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, summer and after-school camp, gymnastics, martial arts, aerial silks, dance and trampoline fitness, parkour, kids and adults classes, and more.

Dezerland Park is currently soft opened. The official grand opening and ribbon cutting will be hosted in the Winter of 2019.
