District 9 Town Hall and Awards Ceremony 2018

On Tuesday April 17th 2018, Miami Dade County School Board Member Dr. Larry Feldman held the last District 9 Town Hall and Awards Ceremony of the school year 2017-2018 at South Dade Senior High School. The event began with an informational fair where schools, district offices and community-based organizations had an opportunity to showcase important information regarding educational services and programs. During the ceremony, young students showcased their talent through amazing performances. Finally, over 100 students from District 9 schools, Principal of the Year, Assistant Principal of the Year, Rookie Teacher of the Year, Office Employee of the Year, Paraprofessional/School Support Personnel, Support Personnel of the Year, District 9 Silver Knight Nominees and District 9 All Dade High Schools Athletes were recognized during the event.
