WHAT: Shop with a Cop Event
WHEN: Wednesday, December 13, 2017 5PM
WHERE: Walmart at 13600 SW 288 Street, Homestead, FL 33033

On Wednesday, December 13 at 5PM, dozens of Homestead Police Officers will pair up with deserving children to help create a memorable Christmas season. Together, they’ll stroll through the aisles of Walmart, picking out special holiday gifts that their families would otherwise not be able to afford. While the purchases are paid for by Homestead Councilman Larry Roth’s charity “This is for the Kids, Inc.”, many Homestead Police officers often donate their own money during the shopping experience. Participating children are identified through the Homestead Police Department’s Start off Smart social services unit.
