South Dade at Homestead Selected for 2019 Great American Rivalry Series®
- The Homestead Broncos will host the South Dade Buccaneers for the rivalry football game. The Great American Rivalry Series will recognize an MVP and give a college scholarship to a senior Scholar-Athlete from each team. The winning team will receive the Great American Rivalry Series Champions trophy, presented by the United States Marine Corps, the official game sponsor.

The South Dade v. Homestead rivalry demonstrates passionate athleticism and sportsman-like respect in the local community. The Great American Rivalry Series is proud to return in 2019 to showcase this game.

Along with year-long bragging rights, the winning team will take home the Great American Rivalry Series Champions trophy, presented by the Marines. The game’s Most Valuable Player will be recognized after the game as part of the Series, and a senior Scholar-Athlete from each team will receive a college scholarship based on academic and athletic performance.
