• What do you think is the most important part of an orthodontic patient’s experience?
Orthodontic treatment helps ensure proper function of teeth and create healthy smiles.
A good bite makes it easier for you to bite, chew and speak. Teeth that are misaligned are harder to clean and can cause abnormal wearing of tooth enamel which can lead to extensive and expensive dental procedures.
In children however, a children’s orthodontist has the task of creating a functional, healthy “bite” for them. This includes part jaw position and part tooth alignment. When a child’s teeth and jaw line up well, their oral health is as nature intended. An orthodontist can provide treatment for children that need help in achieving a healthy bite and function.
On the plus side, treatment will also give them an attractive smile.

• Is there a specific reason you chose Homestead for your practice?
One of the elements that separate Florida City Dental Orthodontics from so many other providers has to do with how we play an active role in the communities we serve. All of our staff members live within the
Homestead/Florida City areas as well as work there and together, we want to do whatever it takes to create the best environment possible both inside and out of the office.
All in all, we believe that any step that helps make our communities just a bit better tomorrow than they were yesterday is one that is more than worth taking.
• Are you able to offer any advice to those who might have financial limitations when it comes to paying for an orthodontic treatment?
Part of how we do this involves the flexible payment plans that we’ve made available.
People shouldn’t skip out on this critical level of treatment just because they think they might not be able to afford it.
In addition to free in-house financing, we also offer reasonable payment plan options as well – all in the name of providing you with different options to help you achieve your smile goals.
Note that we also accept a wide range of different insurance policies – including most major plans that you may already have. We accept all PPO plans, and offer 3rd party financing with companies such as Lending Club & Care Credit just to name a few which help in making the whole experience easier than you could have ever thought possible.
If you’re curious as to whether we accept your particular insurance plan, you can always just pick up the phone and give us a call.
Even if we don’t accept your specific insurance, don’t worry – we’re quite confident that we’ll be able to work something out to your satisfaction.
