Make the Season Brighter for Shelter Pets: Miami-Dade Invites the Community to Join the “Presents for Pets” Donation Drive
This holiday season, Miami-Dade residents have a chance to bring comfort, joy, and hope to hundreds of shelter animals awaiting a forever home. Miami-Dade County Animal Services and the Miami-Dade Public Library System have officially launched the 5th annual “Presents for Pets” holiday donation drive, running from November 24 through December 31.
The initiative encourages the community to donate essential items that help improve the well-being of dogs and cats living in county shelters. With thousands of animals entering the system each year, community involvement plays a crucial role in providing care and emotional support while they wait to be adopted.
“These thoughtful gifts bring warmth, comfort, and hope to our shelter pets,” said Annette Jose, Director of Miami-Dade County Animal Services. “Your generosity reminds them that love is never far away.”
