Stay Cool Through the End of Summer with FPL SolarNow
These local locations across Florida offer the chance to splash and play while learning about solar energy.
Looking to enjoy the final weeks of summer? With the temperatures often staying in the 90s, there are plenty of ways to stay cool while enjoying the outdoors. Soak up the sun and make a splash with Florida Power & Light Company’s (FPL) SolarNow program. Across the Sunshine State, attractions like water play areas, splash pads, pools and slides have been transformed into living classrooms.
There are more than 70 FPL SolarNow partner locations across the state where families can learn about the importance of clean energy and its impact on our communities.
The solar trees and canopies at these locations harness the power of the sun while generating emissions-free energy that benefits all of us. With only a few more weeks to soak up summer, families can visit one of their local parks where these solar trees and canopies are on display to learn about the benefits and impact of low-cost, emissions-free solar energy.
“These fun, family friendly locations are a great opportunity to remind our customers of the benefits of low-cost, emissions-free solar energy for all of us,” said Danielle Byrnes, FPL spokesperson. “We are dedicated to creating fun, educational experiences while generating low-cost, clean energy.”
