The City of Homestead is excited to announce that the Florida Licensing on Wheels (FLOW) mobile office will be at the William F. Dickinson Community Center, located at 1601 North Krome Avenue, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This convenient event offers residents a hassle-free way to manage their DMV needs without the long lines and wait times. Please note that driving test services are not available at this event.
The FLOW mobile office brings essential motorist services directly to Homestead, making it easier than ever to take care of everything from driver’s license renewals to vehicle registrations. Services available during the event include a variety of options, with fees for services varying and costs including:
• First-time licenses: $48.00
• Converting out-of-state license: $48.00
• License renewals: $48.00 (Class E; fees vary for CDL)
• Replacements for lost or stolen licenses: $25.00
• Address or name changes: $25.00
• ID cards: $25.00
• No Fee Poverty Letter: Free
• Reinstatements: Fees vary
• Emergency Contact Information Registration: Free
• Vehicle registration renewals: Fees vary
• Disabled Parking Placard Issuance and Renewals: Permanent – Free, Temporary – $15.00
To take advantage of these services, residents must bring the following documentation:
• Proof of Identification (such as a U.S. Birth Certificate or valid U.S. Passport)
• Proof of Social Security Number (like a Social Security Card)
• Two different proofs of address (such as a Voter Registration Card and a utility statement)
