Florida among states with the highest-rated hospitals in the US this National EMS Week
Florida ranks seventh overall, with an average hospital rating of 3.74 stars out of five.
National EMS Week falls from May 18 to 24 and is used to recognize and celebrate the amazing work done by those who work in emergency medical services. To celebrate this, new research has revealed the states with the highest-rated hospitals, with Florida ranking seventh.
Personal injury attorneys at Injured in Florida analyzed Google reviews for every hospital in the US with at least 50 reviews. They found the average hospital rating in each state to reveal which states have the best.
South Dakota takes the top spot, with an average hospital rating of 4.15 stars out of five. The state’s highest-rated hospital is Black Hills Surgical Hospital, with a rating of 4.9 stars.
Texas is second, with an average rating of 3.86 stars out of five. Ally Medical hospitals are the highest-rated in Texas, at five stars.
Utah ranks third, with its hospitals rated 3.82 stars on average. Gunnison Valley Hospital is Utah’s highest-rated, at 4.9 stars.
Hawaii comes fourth, with an average hospital rating of 3.81 out of five. The best-rated hospital in the state is Leahi Hospital, with 4.9 stars.
Nebraska places fifth, with its hospitals rated 3.77 out of five on average. Callaway District Hospital is the state’s highest-rated, with 4.9 stars.
Mississippi is in sixth place, with an average rating of 3.75 stars out of five. Florida is next, with its hospitals rated 3.74 stars out of five on average. Oklahoma and Nevada follow, with average hospital ratings of 3.62 and 3.61 stars out of five, respectively. Kansas rounds out the top ten, with an average rating of 3.60 stars out of five.
On the other hand, the state with the worst-rated hospitals is Maine, with an average rating of just 2.77 stars out of five. Closely following are Maryland and New York, with average hospital ratings of 2.86 and 2.95 stars, respectively.
