Family Halloween Fun Returns to Miami Children’s Museum This Sunday

If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate Halloween with the kids, the Miami Children’s Museum is preparing an afternoon filled with costumes, candy, games and plenty of spooky surprises. This Sunday, October 4, the Museum’s popular Not So Scary Halloween Bash returns for its 16th year.

The celebration will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Miami Children’s Museum, located at 980 MacArthur Causeway. The daytime event is designed especially for families who want to enjoy the excitement of Halloween with younger children in a fun, age-appropriate environment.

Kids are encouraged to arrive in their favorite costumes and get ready to trick-or-treat throughout the Museum’s 17 interactive galleries, while exploring a variety of Halloween-themed experiences and activities.

One of this year’s biggest attractions will be the Museum’s Haunted House, created for little ghosts and goblins who want some Halloween excitement without the intense scares often found at traditional haunted attractions.

The afternoon will also feature spooky science experiments, face painting, pumpkin decorating, art activities and character meet-and-greets. Families can also enjoy special sponsor-hosted activities, lunch served by Diced and sweet treats from local vendors.

“There’s nothing quite like watching the Miami Children’s Museum’s 17 galleries fill up with tiny superheroes, princesses, dinosaurs and more during this special event each year,” said Deborah Spiegelman, CEO of the Miami Children’s Museum.
