Each will have their own personal experiences and things they need to take care of throughout this time in their life. What is a Pregnancy Journey?
A pregnancy journey refers to the different stages and phases that an expecting mother has to go through. It is important to note that each pregnancy journey is different and not every woman will go through the same stages during her pregnancy. Usually, a pregnancy journey for a woman will start when she misses her period and is diagnosed with pregnancy by her doctor. Another factor for pregnancy is by IVF treatment. However, pregnancy journeys usually consist of three trimesters, with the first trimester being the shortest and the third being the longest.

Week by week pregnancy journey
The first trimester of your journey will be a time of rapid growth and change. This is when you’ll start to generate and build your baby, both physically and mentally. With all the changes and adjustments your body is going through, you might feel a little overwhelmed. But don’t worry, most women experience the same things. Expect to experience some body changes in your first trimester, such as increased fatigue and nausea. You might even feel a little moody. These are all normal. It is important to discuss any pre-existing conditions or concerns that you have during this time as well. Some women might have to adjust their work schedule during this first trimester, if they experience extreme fatigue and nausea. Prenatal vitamins are recommended, since your body is under a lot of stress and needs more nutrients. It is better to avoid risky treatments like hair transplant, laser hair removal or Botox etc. Your baby’s development is rapid in the first trimester. By the end of the first month, your baby’s heart is beating and he or she is forming all the organs, bones and tissues that he or she will need to survive outside the womb.

First Trimester: Morning Sickness and Other Physical Changes
Your first trimester is a time of rapid change and growth. It is also the time when you’re most likely to feel nauseous. This is an indication that your body is adjusting to the rising levels of estrogen and progesterone. It is also common to feel tired and have trouble sleeping during this trimester. The sleepiness is due to the higher levels of the hormone progesterone. Some women will notice spotted or bleeding, which is normal. There’s a chance that you might have an increased appetite, especially for certain foods. This is mainly due to the rising levels of HCG hormone. You might also notice that you have bad breath or a different smell. This is normal and something that will go away after your pregnancy. By the end of the first trimester, your baby has grown a lot. He or she is around 1 inch long and weighs about 1/3 of an ounce. The baby’s mouth, stomach and intestines are forming, as well as fingers and toes.

Second Trimester: Building Baby and Maternal Changes
During this trimester, your baby continues to grow and develop in your uterus. He or she will also start to move around a lot and put on weight. Third Trimester: The Final Countdown
During the third trimester, your baby will put on the most weight and grow rapidly. He or she will double in size by the end of the trimester. Your baby is ready to be born and will be fully developed. During the third trimester, you might start to feel pressure on your bladder and back. You might also notice that it’s harder to bend over and pick up things. This is due to the growing uterus pressing against your other organs.
