Cadillac Championship Launches Birdies for Charity Program to Support South Florida Nonprofits
As anticipation builds for the upcoming Cadillac Championship, organizers have unveiled a new initiative that blends philanthropy with the excitement of professional golf. The Birdies for Charity Program, running from February 25 through April 29, 2026, offers South Florida nonprofits a unique opportunity to raise funds while giving fans the chance to win a $10,000 grand prize.
The program is designed to strengthen community engagement around the prestigious PGA TOUR event, which will take place from April 29 through May 3, 2026, at the iconic Blue Monster course. Through Birdies for Charity, supporters can donate to participating nonprofit organizations and, at the same time, participate in a friendly competition predicting the number of birdies scored during the tournament.
One of the most attractive aspects of the initiative is its direct benefit to charitable organizations. The Cadillac Championship will cover all administrative costs associated with the program, ensuring that 100 percent of every donation made in a nonprofit’s name goes directly to that organization. This structure allows charities to maximize their fundraising potential while connecting with a broader community of supporters.
Fans who contribute a minimum donation of $20 to a participating charity will have the opportunity to guess the total number of birdies recorded by PGA TOUR players during the tournament’s official competition rounds, from Thursday through Sunday. The donor who correctly predicts—or comes closest to—the final birdie count will win the program’s $10,000 grand prize.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by a tiebreaker question: predicting the number of birdies made on the tournament’s legendary 18th hole at the Blue Monster. The grand prize winner will have the option to keep the prize or donate it to one of the participating nonprofit organizations, further amplifying the charitable impact of the program.
Beyond individual donations, the Cadillac Championship will also contribute to a $40,000 bonus pool that will be distributed among participating charities based on their level of engagement and fundraising success. This additional incentive encourages nonprofits to mobilize their supporters, promote the campaign through community outreach, and utilize platforms such as fundraising events and social media.
South Florida nonprofits interested in participating must be registered 501(c)(3) organizations located in the region. To qualify, organizations must submit an online application along with their official IRS determination letter by April 10, 2026.
By combining the thrill of professional golf with meaningful community impact, the Birdies for Charity Program reflects the Cadillac Championship’s ongoing commitment to supporting local organizations and strengthening the social fabric of South Florida.
