Homestead CRA Partners to Host Small Business Clinic

The Homestead Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) has partnered with the Miami Bayside Foundation to host a Small Business Clinic. The program will begin on August 29th and will include a 30-hour, 4-week program. Participants will have the opportunity to learn valuable information to help them develop their business through 8 focused sessions. Those who complete the program and are within the CRA area will be eligible to receive $7,500 in grant funding. For those businesses outside of the CRA there will be other funding opportunities available per qualification.

Those who attend the program can expect to learn about topics such as business plans, SWOT analysis, minority certifications, marketing strategies, government contracting, accounting support, and legal considerations. All businesses accepted into the program will be asked to participate in a pre-assessment meeting, 24 hours of technical assistance, pitch presentation, and a post assessment meeting. The program is designed to take your small business to the next level. Applications will be accepted from July 18th-August 1st 2022 at www.miamibaysidefoundation.org/workshops.
